Before we begin,
a few important things to know.
joliroDetect is confidential, and it is guided by MyrtleAI — an AI assistant that will walk you through your phone and your accounts, one step at a time. It is here to support you, not to replace professional, legal, medical or crisis advice.
- Time: this is thorough, so it takes a while — usually around two hours, and longer if we find something that needs fixing. Please do not feel you have to do it all at once. You can stop and come back as many times as you like.
- Along the way: getting started takes a few minutes, then the settings on your phone, then your accounts — email, Google or Apple, social media — which is the longest part, and then your report.
- Your pace: most steps ask you to look at a setting on your phone and tell us what you see. Take as long as you need — we will wait.
- Stopping: you can save and close at any point and pick up exactly where you left off, with no time limit. Most people do this over more than one sitting, and that is the sensible way to do it. If you are away from this page for a long while we will ask whether you are still there before closing anything.
- For your privacy, we recommend using a device the person you're concerned about cannot access. If possible, use private / incognito browsing.
- If you download a report at the end of your session, treat it with the same care as access to this device. Move it somewhere safe and delete it from your Downloads folder straight away.
- Private & confidential To answer you, your messages are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, whose servers are in the United States. Nansen also keeps a record of the session to check how accurate the tool is and to improve it. Before that record is kept, identifiers such as email addresses, phone numbers and device serial numbers are removed automatically — though a name you type into a message may remain. Your session is never sold and never used to train AI models. You can leave at any time by closing this page, and start again whenever you are ready. That record is kept for 30 days and then deleted. Automated AI assessment This tool uses artificial intelligence to automatically generate findings and recommendations. Results are produced by an AI system and are not reviewed by a human before you see them. Treat the output as a starting point and verify important findings with a qualified professional.
Provided in good faith We have taken care in designing this tool, but AI can make mistakes or miss important information. A clear result here does not prove that nothing is wrong, and a finding here does not prove that it is. Treat both as a starting point. Nansen Limited and its associates accept no liability for outcomes arising from its use.

Upload the session file you downloaded last time. There is no time limit. You will usually find it in your Downloads folder.
When you choose the file, joliroDetect checks only its digital fingerprint, to confirm the file has not been changed since it was saved. The contents of the transcript are not uploaded.
